Our organisations

Whiti Mai Rānui is made up of seven place-based organisations committed to working alongside the Rānui community. Together, we share knowledge, build partnerships, and work towards a stronger, more connected Rānui.

  • Rānui 135

    Rānui 135 is a grassroots youth organisation that supports young people to grow in confidence, develop leadership skills and achieve positive outcomes through programmes, mentoring and community activities.


  • Rānui Action Project

    Rānui Action Project is a community development organisation that brings people together, supports local initiatives, and strengthens wellbeing across the Rānui community. The Rānui Action Project is the umbrella organisation for Whiti Mai Rānui.

  • Rānui Baptist Community Care

    Rānui Baptist Community Care provides practical support for individuals and whānau, helping people navigate challenges, build independence and improve wellbeing through housing, food support, financial mentoring and community programmes.

  • Rānui Community Centre & Garden

    Rānui Community Centre & Garden is a welcoming community hub that brings people together through programmes, activities, shared spaces, the community garden and Café Kōrero, creating opportunities to connect, learn and belong.

  • Rānui Community Library

    Rānui Library is a place for learning, connection and discovery, providing free access to books, digital resources, community programmes and welcoming spaces for people of all ages.

  • Rānui Primary School

    Rānui Primary School provides a nurturing learning environment where tamariki grow in confidence, learning and identity through Māori immersion, English medium and Samoan bilingual pathways.

  • Te Waipuna Puawai

    A community development organisation that works alongside whānau to strengthen wellbeing, learning and opportunities through kaupapa Māori and whānau-centred support.
